Depending on where you live, steam coils can play a major part in your heating process. From industrialized applications such as paper or process plants to a small boiler in your basement, steam coils can become a part of everyday life. That’s where RAE Coils comes in. With our capabilities, we can build a 5/8” standard steam coil or a 1” steam distributing coil to meet almost every application.

  • STANDARD FEATURES

    • 1” O.D. X .035” copper tube wall thickness
    • 5/8” O.D. X .020” copper tube wall thickness
    • Tempered aluminum, die-formed plate fins available in a corrugated surface or a flat surface with a waffle edge and extruded fin collars
    • 16-gauge, G-90 galvanized sheet steel casing
    • Heights up to 48” in a single supply connection
    • Fin spacing ranges from 4 FPI to 14 FPI
    • Tubes are mechanically expanded into the fins
    • Tube sheets are die-formed and full collared and are full coil depth
    • Connections can be exactly matched to existing coil or piping arrangement
    • Leak-tested in a water tank

    • 1” O.D. X .049” copper tube wall thicknesses
    • 5/8” O.D. X .025”, .030”, .035”, and .049” copper tube wall thicknesses
    • Copper, acrylic coated plate fins, and aluminum (up to .010 fin thickness) fin materials
    • Baked phenolic coating or cross-linked acrylic coating for corrosive applications
    • Split vertical fin coils with factory fabricated casings for special applications
    • Copper, aluminum or stainless steel casings
    • Carbon steel casings and high integrity/low leakage casings for high pressure boxes
    • Casing flanges
    • Galvanized steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and copper tube sheet materials
    • FPT and MPT connections
    • ANSI flanges
    • Ultra Case tube sheet – an extruded copper tube sheet supported by a stainless steel casing. As a result, the copper tubes are expanded into a copper tube sheet, eliminating dissimilar metals and providing a mating surface that is significantly less abrasive
